It may take a little while for the cookie cutter specs to come down the chain, but there is an interesting argument going on right now between all the theorycrafters. I believe this is what blizzard wanted.
Do you want to crit more so your TPS/DPS goes up or do you want to have the ability to possibly free heal yourself and create a protective bubble with any overhealing?
It's time to look at the new talent trees.

4.0.1 Protection Paladin's Spell and Ability Changes
Posted by
Gordrin
4.0.1 will be here either next week or the week after so we better take a look at what is changing for Paladins, Protection in particular.
Tons of abilities and talents have changed, things added and removed, and our rotation completed thrown to the wind.
Patch notes can always be found in the Test Realm Patch Notes area here.

Something that I've wanted to do for a long time was post an article on making in game currency. It seems it's such a taboo subject within the WoW community with few exceptions. I'm not sure if all the gold selling adds or "buy my gold guide" sites have just generally turned off bloggers about the situation. I also assume that it has a little something to do with fear, fear of losing ones so called superiority on the market proper. Well today I would like to boldly charge in, guns blazing, and reveal all you need to do to get a piece of the pie....all for 10 easy payments of $49.99! Ah, just playing around - all for free.

The model of the Horde Guild Mount, the Kron'Kar Annihilator has been updated in the latest build and looks ridiculously awesome. You can get the mount by reaching Guild Level 25.

My UI Is not exactly the same anymore, but close, I love looking at numbers, it goes along with my ADHD I guess.
Here is our first kill of Lich King (10), we have a much better strat now, you can't hear me yelling in vent, but
Titleist is there too so more fun for everyone.

Ferocious Inspiration Welcomes Gordrin!
Posted by
Dustin Thomas
Today we welcome a new member to the team; our very own Prot Paladin expert, Gordrin! Gordrin has countless hours of experience in both tanking and successfully leading raids. Under his guidance, our guild created a timeslot (similar to a raid team in other guilds, but without a set roster) for east coast / mid-west raiders. He has acted as our guild's main tank for that timeslot through both new raid content and hardmode adventures. Without a doubt his almost obsessive like mannerisms to kill bosses has contributed much to the success of the team. We are excited to have his wisdom and insight on board as we continue to create a solid resource for WoW players and gamers alike.

Since we can talk about pretty much anything here I'm going to be posting thoughts on Paladins in Cataclysm.
I've played a Protection Paladin since BC when we actually had some work to do while tanking through Wrath while being a little too OP and way too easy of a class to pick up the basics for making threat on.
Going forward, looks like a little more skill will be required so I'm pretty excited.
I will compiling stories, data, and making some movies on the changes currently live on the PTR.
Other Characters I play, all on Haomarush, US.
Gordrin - Protection Paladin
Hotahsa - Resto Shaman (which Blachand taught me the finer points of)
Losoth - Warlock
