With all the changes (to mechanics, UI, spells, abilities, graphics, launcher, currency...etc...) we've been made to endure recently, it seems that some things naturally fall by the wayside. In a guest post to
MMO Melting Pot, the author of the
Ecclesiastical Disciple blog covered which classes can dispell what, and included some details on each. I thought this was a great idea and I wanted to bring this to my readers attention in an easy to read format. Below are a few lists, the first is the list of status effects and who can dispel them. Below that I'll revise the same list, only sort it by class. This can act as a quick guide if you are a raid leader (debuff view) or a player (class view) to know exactly how you can contribute to your raid. Keep in mind some of these abilities are situational, for example; A shaman can inherently dispel curses but has to talent into the ability to remove magic from an ally. All priests can remove disease but it will break shadow form.
